This pattern was the one that started it all, back when I made the Toddler Blazer. The Basic Blazer honors the Toddler Blazer while vastly improving upon it. And now it’s leading the pack again as my first paper pattern.

Blank Slate Paper Patterns are all printed on 20 lb. bond paper (none of that fussy tissue stuff!) and include 12 page color instruction booklets.

Don’t leave your little girl out in the cold this winter! Whip up a Ruffled Cardigan for her. This confident beginner pattern features:

Purchased or self-made ruffle all around the edges
Fully reversible
Belt loops
Tie sash
Sizes 18m-8

Materials – Knit Fabric for outside and lining, pre-ruffled fabric or ruffled lace trim at least 1 inch wide, 1 1/2 yards (1.37 meters) of grosgrain or velvet ribbon for sash, 16” (41 cm) of 1/8”-1/2” (3mm-12mm) ribbon or bias tape for belt loops.

You could also choose to make your own ruffle for this project. Be aware that the ruffle will be seen from both sides.
